Kevin Jensen
Kevin is a geologist and co-owner of J&M Energy. Kevin received a bachelor’s in geology from Central Michigan University, a master’s in geology from Louisiana State University, and a master’s in business administration from the University of North Carolina. In 2012, Kevin started his career with Chevron in Pittsburgh where he worked unconventional projects in the Marcellus, Utica, and Collingwood. Kevin also spent 2 years on Chevron’s Global Reserve team in Houston.
In April of 2019, Kevin started J&M Energy with Andy Maness. He has also served at Central Michigan University as a member of their Geology Alumni Board, and as a faculty member.
Andy Maness
Andy Maness is a licensed Professional Engineer and co-owner of J&M Energy. Andy received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan. Prior to oil and gas, Andy worked 6+ years in industrial and commercial construction management. Andy started working in the oil and gas industry in 2016 and is the third generation of his family to work in the oil and gas industry. Andy has focused on petroleum engineering work, including petrophysics, field studies, economic evaluations using PHDWin, and feasibility studies.
